Charles Lynn Heard passed away Friday.

He was born on April 22, 1960 in LaGrange, GA to the late Jessie Heard Sr.  and Lillie Mae Cameron Heard. “Lynn” graduated from Troup High School, Class of 1979; went on to serve in the US Marine Corp and was previously employed by the City of LaGrange, Callaway Gardens and Mr. Greenjeans.

Survivors include his son Johnathan Heard; one granddaughter; brother, Jerry Heard; sister, Mary Heard Tucker; stepmother, Heley Heard; sister-in-law, Patrica Wilbur Heard (Detroit, Michigan); a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The Service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mr. Heard is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
