The surging LaGrange College Panthers beat Emory 8-1 on Tuesday for their 11th win in 12 games.
Trey Pearce had three hits with a home run to lead the offensive effort, and four pitchers combined for a four-hitter.
Tanner Chafin started and pitched four scoreless innings, and Rhett Hebert didn’t allow a run in his one inning on the mound.
Cal Fuller gave up one run in two innings, and Spencer Douches tossed two scoreless and hitless innings to finish it.
Pearce had three hits and four RBIs, and he had a three-run home run in the fifth inning.
McKinley Erves had three hits and an RBI, and Jack Layrisson had two hits and two RBIs.
Jared Aldridge had two hits, Rhett Mixon had a double, and Dawson Weaver and Corey Farrow each had a hit.
