Milliken’s Duncan Stewart manufacturing facility in LaGrange has announced it will close its plant for one week.
“In an abundance of caution, and in the interest of protecting the health and wellbeing of Milliken teams and their families, Milliken has decided to temporarily close its Duncan Stewart plant for one week,” a statement from Milliken said. “During this time, Milliken will do an additional sanitization of the entire facility in accordance with CDC guidelines. This will also allow additional time to monitor the health of Milliken associates.”
Earlier this week, a Milliken associate tested positive for COVID-19. The statement from Milliken said the company has sanitized the impacted area and followed quarantine guidelines.
The statement also said all known associates who were in contact with the person who tested positive for COVID-19 were also quarantined.
