Jane Knight Taylor

1932-2020

Mrs. Jane Knight Taylor, 88, of Hogansville, passed away on April 22, 2020. Mrs. Taylor was born on March 12, 1932, in Abbottsford, Georgia, to the late James “Jim” Knight and Ruth Bassett Knight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Scott Taylor, Jr. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant with the Cherry Creek School System and was a member of the First Baptist Church on the Square in LaGrange. Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Taylor Bennefield (Porter) and Robin Lynn Taylor; sister, Linda Knight Wadsworth; grandchildren, Grace Taylor and Josh Taylor; extended family and friends. Family graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Shadowlawn Cemetery with Pastor Cade Farris and Rev. Paul Blair officiating.
