It was a winning Friday for the Troup High Tigers.

Football programs across the country are competing in the Friday Night Likes competition, with teams going head-to-head while trying to get the most likes and retweets on Twitter.

In its first Friday Night Likes showdown, Troup lost to Richmond Hill 517-402.

Troup (@TigerTempo) rebounded on Friday with a 397-265 victory over the Alexander Cougars (@ahscougars).

The competition began at noon and went for one hour, and two points were awarded for a retweet of a school logo, and one point for a like.

Richmond Hill, which beat Troup two weeks ago, improved to 3-0 with a 753-508 win over John Tyler (Tex.) on Friday.

The competition will continue next week.
