A candidate forum will be held Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. for the positions of state court judge and coroner.
The forum has been organized by the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce and will be streamed live on The LaGrange Daily News Facebook page.
The three candidates for state court judge are Luther Jones, Wesley Leonard and Kyle Lovejoy. The coroner candidates are Brandon Adams and Erin Hackley.
“The Chamber is pleased to provide another opportunity for community members to get to know candidates before the primary election on June 9,” said Chamber President Connie Hensler. “We are focusing on the races that are non-partisan or where the candidates are all from one party and only one will advance to the November ballot. We encourage all voters to be informed before casting their ballots in any election.”
The forum will be held via Zoom, a web conference platform. All candidates will be asked the same question as their opponents, in a similar format to the chamber’s previous forum for school board.
