ADDIE MARIE BAILEY

1925-2020

Miss Addie Marie Bailey, 95, of LaGrange, passed away on May 29, 2020, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Miss Bailey was born on Jan. 26, 1925, in Randolph County, Alabama, to the late Levi Bailey and Cora Lanier Bailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Elliott Bailey; nephews Larry Mitchell, Charles Levi Bailey and David E. Bailey; brother in law, Billy Mitchell.   Miss Bailey was of the Baptist Faith and was an active member of the Troup County Senior Center. Survivors include her sister, Monteen Mitchell; sister in law, Frances Bailey; nieces and nephew, Jolly Zeunges (Rick), Sheila Champion (Tommy), Karen Sinyard (Mike), Pam Kennemore and Roger Bailey (Darlene); numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 1 p.m. at the Restlawn Memory Gardens with Chaplain Dan Wooten officiating.  Family will assemble at the graveside.  

The family would like to give special appreciation  to the staff at LaGrange Nursing and Rehabilitation and WellStar West Georgia Hospice for the special care afforded Miss Bailey.
