Troup County’s COVID-19 cases hit 1,300 in Saturday’s update from the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Troup saw its number of cases increase by 23 from Friday’s update to an even 1300. Deaths remained at 31 while hospitalizations went up three to 140.

Seventeen of Troup County’s 31 deaths are from the outbreak at LaGrange Nursing and Rehab, according to the latest long-term facility report from GDPH.
