SOFTBALL: Kendrick’s softball team, which was supposed to host LaGrange on Tuesday, has had to shut things down for a while because of a Covid-19 issue.
It was going to be the second Region 2-AAAA game of the season for LaGrange, which opened region play with a 7-1 road win over Columbus last week.
Also on Tuesday, Callaway’s Region 5-AA opener at Haralson County was rained out, and the game will be made up later.
On Thursday, LaGrange will host Newnan in a non-region game, while Callaway will visit Temple for a region game.
