Mr. Roger “Cowboy” Coverson passed away Monday.
He was born May 25, 1950, in Harris County, Georgia to the late Ossie Lee and Willie Dorsey Coverson. He grew up in Pine Mountain, Georgia with his thirteen siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandrico Huzzie, LaGrange, GA; and Seandra (Kenneth) Hodo, Fairburn, GA; two sons: Marcus (Pam) Bowles, Atlanta, GA; Mario (Candy) Blue, San Diego, CA; seventeen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings: Roy (Kathleen), Joseph (Sue), Willie (Freda), Bessie Lee Littlie, Louise Murphy, Myra Fields, and Mildred Huling; two sisters-in-law: Helen (Wilbert) Andrews and Queen (Amos) Smith; one brother-in-law, Johnny (Diane) Blue; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, that will miss him dearly.
The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Coverson Family Cemetery.
The excellent care of Mr. Coverson is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
