As co-chairs of this year’s American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Troup County committee, we would like to sincerely thank residents for their generosity and support. 30 teams participated in this year’s event, raising over $52,000 for the American Cancer Society’s research, education, advocacy and service programs.

The outstanding support received from the community members and corporate sponsors during this pandemic proves that the people of Troup County are truly committed to the fight against cancer. 

A special thanks to the many Relay For Life volunteers who got creative and found a way to bring Relay to the community.  Our Paint the Town Purple event and the beautiful purple display on the square gave us all the opportunity to see and remember the impact cancer has had in our community.

The Relay For Life committee did an outstanding job of putting this together. The Paint the Town Purple event was a way for us to honor all those impacted by cancer, close out the 2020 season and kick-off the 2021 event season.

We invite you to join us as we begin our new Relay For Life season by donating, registering as a participant or starting a team.  All of this can be done on our Relay For Life of Troup County website:  www.relayforlife.org/troupga
