The Troup County School System continues to see a decrease in active student COVID-19 cases.

According to the latest numbers through 9:30 a.m. Friday, TCSS has four students with a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 and four staff members with confirmed positive cases.

Last week on Sept. 4, there were six confirmed student cases, so that number dropped over the last seven days. There were zero employee cases as of last week.

There are currently 201 students in quarantine and 12 staff members in quarantine.
