Mark Anthony Allen passed away Friday.

He was born Jan. 15, 1970, in LaGrange; to the late Mr. and Mrs. Pierce and Earnestine Allen, Sr.

He was educated in the Troup County Public School System, and was previously employed by Checkers and McDonald’s.

Survivors include his sisters, Ms. Gloria Stargell, Ms. Patricia E. Leath, Ms. Felicia Nelson, and Ms. Loretta Allen; two brothers, Mr. Pearce Allen, Jr. and Mr. Paul Allen; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends, all of whom love him dearly.

The service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Southview Cemetery. The excellent care of Mr. Allen is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
