William Aaron “Bill” Riddle

1932-2020

Mr. William Aaron “Bill” Riddle, 88, met Jesus on Sept. 16, 2020, at his home in LaGrange. He was born on Feb. 29, 1932, in Lee County, Alabama. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, sold insurance for Gulf Life Insurance Company for 32 years and was a Deacon/member of East Vernon Baptist Church for 61 years.

Barbara Jean Moore Riddle, the love of his life and wife of 68 years, was by his side during his passing. He was preceded in death by two of his children: Robert William Riddle and Deborah Jean Riddle Wynn. Mr. Riddle is survived by four of his children, Vicki LeVoy Riddle Jacks, Roger Wade Riddle, Angel Mae Riddle-Loken and Ralph Paul Riddle. To say he was loved by many would be an understatement. His buddies knew him as an avid hunter, but his many grandkids and great-grandkids knew his as “Grennenny.”
