Mrs. Janice Marie Hester Jones, of LaGrange, passed away on Dec 15, 2020.  Mrs. Jones was born on July 4, 1937 in Troup County, Georgia to the late Jim Hester and Eleanor Geter Hester.  She was an Administrator for Torrance Construction upon her retirement.  Prior to that, she worked for over twenty years at Coca-Cola.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a nephew, Carl Hester.

Survivors include her husband of over fifty-four years, Elton Eugene (Gene) Jones; sons, Jimmy Jones (Mandi) and Scott Jones (Heather); brother, Larry Hester (Terrie); grandchildren, Steven Jones, Carson Jones, Jonah Meacham, Joie Meacham, Julie Meacham, Jacob Meacham, Tiffany Floyd and Amber Collins; aunt, Jenny Geter; extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the Shadowlawn Cemetery with Rev. Max McCord officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. to pay their respects to the family.
