Dewey Eugene “Gene” Keith, 83, passed away unexpectantly on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.  He was born on Dec. 8, 1937 to the late George Dewey Keith and Tommie Lou Woodruff Keith.

Along with his parents, Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Willene Dalrymple Keith.  He is survived by his children, Nancy Cobb (Mike) and Gregory Keith (Maria); grandchildren, Lucas Keith, Hunter Keith, Bradley Cobb, and Elizabeth Cobb.  

He is also survived by his sisters, Alice Keith Dawson and Peggy Hamilton and numerous nephews.

The service celebrating Gene’s life is Friday, Dec. 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, Georgia with Rev. Frank Powers officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 TO8 p.m.
