JESSIE ALLEN, JR.

1934-2020

Mr. Jessie Allen, Jr. passed away Saturday.

He was born Dec. 9, 1934 to the late Jessie and Posie Allen, Sr. in Franklin, Heard County, Georgia.

He was a member of Mt. Carrie Baptist Church of Franklin; and retired as a janitor at Heard County High School.

Survivors include two sons: Jimmy Lee Allen, Newnan, Georgia; and Randy Allen, LaGrange, Georgia; three daughters: Rosa Nell Bonner, Carrollton, Georgia; Roberta (Mike) Smith, Ronaoke, Alabama; and Teresa “CoCo” Allen, Franklin, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.

The service was held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Stateline Baptist Church Cemetery. The excellent care of Mr. Allen is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
