A pedestrian who died on Interstate 85 Monday night has been identified.

Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Scott Jeter said Letrey Mann, 27, from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, parked his vehicle in the grass on I-85, just north of the Georgia 54 overpass. Mann then ran into the northbound lanes and was struck by at least two vehicles.

GSP dispatched to the call around 9:30 p.m., and the northbound lanes were shut down for approximately two hours as the investigation was conducted. Traffic was diverted to the exit 28 off and on-ramps to allow traffic flow to continue.
