Mrs. Bessie Vesta Yarbrough McGouirk, 89, of LaGrange, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Mrs. McGouirk was born Aug. 3, 1931, in Gabbettville, daughter of the late Thomas and Cecile Kincy Dean Yarbrough.  A resident of Troup County for a number of years, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Cindy O. Taylor (Roy); sons, Rick Folds (Leslie), David A. Oechsle (Georgia), and Dennis J. Oechsle; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends; and special care-givers, Deneen Denney and the staff of Mt. Carmel Assisted Living Facility, who meant so much to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Richard McGouirk, Jr. and Engelbert Joseph Oechsle; and her siblings, Bill Yarbrough, Lee Yarbrough, Annie Sullivan, Lois Smith, Ethel Drinnen, Edna Farrar, Jennie Yarbrough Walker, Mary Jim Poole, and J. C. Yarbrough.

The family will plan a memorial service in the Spring of 2021.
