A 40-year-old woman was shot at while getting in her car on McGee Street at approximately 5:50 a.m. Friday.

According to the LaGrange Police Department, the shot came from Lafayette Parkway.

According to LaGrange police Sgt. Robert Kirby, the victim was not harmed. He added that her car was only struck once.

At this time, the LaGrange Police Department has no description of the suspect or motive behind the shooting this morning.

He added that they also do not know the make or model of gun that was used in the shooting yet.
