Three stabbed at house on Borton Street, police arrest suspect in Meriwether County
The LaGrange Police Department arrested Charles Wortham Thursday for reportedly stabbing three people on Borton Street a little after 1 a.m. on Thursday morning.
One victim identified Wortham, her children’s father, as the person who stabbed them.
All of the victims were asleep when Wortham allegedly entered the home through a window without permission, according to LPD. Two of the victims were transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center for treatment, and the third victim was flown to Columbus for medical attention.
All victims were released from the hospital Thursday afternoon.
Wortham was arrested in Meriwether County wanted for burglary FVA, aggravated assault FVA, aggravated assault (two counts) and possession of a knife in the commission of a crime.
