The Callaway wrestling team will be well-represented at the state meet.

Callaway participated in the area tournament on Thursday in Bremen, and 11 team members finished third or higher to qualify for state.

Those 11 wrestlers will compete in the state meet on Tuesday in Macon.

Among Callaway’s state qualifiers are LaDarrious Williams, Isaiah Shoemake and JoJo Shuman who won area championships, and Colton Cline, LaQuize Gilbert, Alan Shuman and Jacob Miles finished second.

Callaway’s third-place finishers were Tyrus Edwards, Octavious Colton, Troy Helton and Ethan Mill.
