Ms. Juanita Childs passed away Wednesday.

She was born March 23, 1972, in LaGrange, Georgia to Beverly Childs and the late, Leon Childs, Sr.

She united with the Friendship Baptist Church in Standing Rock, Alabama, graduated from Five Points High School, Class of 1990; and was employed by LaGrange Nursing and Rehab; and Mando in Hogansville, Georgia.

Survivors include three children, Chaquita Childs, Dwayne Childs, and Cortavious Childs; five grandchildren;  Gracelynn Childs, Kashton Childs, Zymon Tucker, Kaynen Harrington, Kaylin Harrington; mother,    Beverly Childs (Charlie Roberts); sisters, Lisa (Demetrice) Potts and Carolyn Childs; brother, Leon (Porsha) Childs, Jr.; bonus parents, Rev. AJ and Ann Sims, Wedowee, Alabama; aunts:  Virginia Childs Fannin, Pricilla Childs, Hattie Ruth Childs, Ann Childs, Cassie Ross, Gladys Tigner; uncles:  Louis Childs, Ernest Dukes, Rev. Ruben Simpson, and Roy Ross; and a host of relatives and friends.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, Standing Rock.

The excellent care of Ms. Childs is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
