TEMPLE – The Callaway Cavaliers pushed two runs across in the top of the seventh inning to pull even, but Temple scored a run in the bottom of the inning to earn the 5-4 win in the Region 5-AA opener for both teams.

In Thursday’s game, Tucker Starling had three of Callaway’s eight hits, and Andrew Locke and Eli Freeman each had RBI singles.
