LaGrange High’s boys’ golf team soared to the top spot at the Troup Tiger Par 3 Challenge on Wednesday at the First Tee course.

Jackson Dennis led LaGrange with a 65, Ben Woodham shot a 69, and Ty Ormsby and Rivers Partin each shot a 72.

Also for LaGrange, Tripp Hollstorm shot a 77, and Jackson Everett had a 78.

LaGrange also had a junior-varsity team in the tournament, and Grady Westmoreland was the standout player for his team with a 60, and Saxon Chastain shot a 68.

LaGrange’s other players were Andrew Williams (76), Bo Bowman (78), Mack Martin (78), Gabe Hawks (81) and Jamarion Wilkerson (98).
