The LaGrange High baseball team will take a break from its region schedule this week.
LaGrange (10-6 overall) plays at Landmark Christian on Thursday before hosting St. Paul’s (Ala.) on Friday and Harris County on Saturday.
It’s the continuation of a challenging non-region schedule for LaGrange, which has played a number of powerhouse teams.
Four of those games came in the LaGrange Toyota Invitational when the Grangers went 2-2.
LaGrange will continue its Region 2-AAAA schedule next week with two games against Jordan. LaGrange is in second place in the region with a 5-1 record, and it has key games coming up against Troup on April 16 and April 19.
