The Callaway Cavaliers, after dropping two of three games to Bremen last week, will continue their Region 5-AA schedule with three games against Haralson County this week.

Callaway (12-6 overall) lost the first two games to Bremen before winning the final game 4-0 to improve to 4-3 in the region.

That was the first region loss for Bremen, which improved to 6-1 in the region with Monday’s 17-4win over Heard County.

Haralson County is in third place in the region with a 3-3 record, Heard County is 2-3, and Temple is in last place in the region at 2-7.

The top four teams in the region qualify for the state playoffs.

Callaway will host Haralson County on Tuesday, and the scene shifts to Tallapoosa on Friday for a doubleheader.
