Mrs. Patricia Ann Gates passed away Tuesday at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

She was born April 18, 1950, to the late Joe Davenport and Roberta Brown Hightower in LaGrange, Georgia.

She united with Leete Hill United Methodist Church and was educated in the Troup County School System.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Gates, Jr., LaGrange; daughters, Gwendolyn (Robert) Brock, Hogansville; Francine Hammett, LaGrange; and Elfrade (Clarence) Boddie, Columbus; bonus children:  Keyawna (Damien) Dozier, Christopher Boddie, Hugh (April) Hammett, Monica Hammett, Samuel (Nikki) Hammett, Kizzie Gates, and Octavious Gates; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; three sisters, Myra (Calvin) Henry, Altimeas (Winfred) Snellings both of LaGrange; and Shelia Copeland, Pine Mountain; two sisters-in-law, Margaret (Thomas) Blacock, Lutherville, Gladys Harris, LaGrange; three brothers-in-law:  Robert Gates, Greenville; John (Jackie) Gates, LaGrange; and Calvn Gates, Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.

The family will receive friends at Leete Hill U M Church on Friday from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

The Service will be Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
