Communities of Tomorrow will hold a Community Dream Day event on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at McGhee Field in Hogansville.

According to CEO Teara Harris, it will be a resource fair.

“This is about putting the resources in one area, just putting them in the park, and just letting people go table to table,” Harris said.

She explained that the fair will eliminate transportation problems by allowing people to learn about different organizations in one location.

According to a flyer, there will be resources tables, community services tables and job fair tables.

The resources tables will be run by West Georgia Technical College, The People Agenda, Three Rivers Region, Habitat for Humanity, United Way Success by 6, The Jungle Bus, Safe Families for Children and Community Action For Improvement.

The community services tables will be run by Circles of Troup County, Calumet Center for Healing Attachment, Brain Jogging, Get Troup Reading, Three Rivers Regional Area Agency Aging, Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and WorkSource Georgia.

The job fair tables will be run by Express Employment, Allegiance Staffing, OnTrack Staffing, Jindal Films, Intuition Employment, and Hyundai Transys Powertrain.

This will be the fourth time the event has been held.

Harris said visitors are encouraged and not required to wear masks.
