Another honor for Bliss

The honors keep rolling in for Ryan Bliss.
Bliss, the Troup High graduate and Auburn University baseball standout, has been selected as a first-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
It’s the latest postseason honor for Bliss, who enjoyed a phenomenal junior season.
Bliss was among the Southeastern Conference leaders in a number of categories, including batting average (.365), home runs (15), slugging percentage (.654), doubles (14), hits (77), RBIs (45) and runs scored, all way doing an exceptional job defensively from the shortstop position.
Bliss has likely played his final game at Auburn since he is eligible for the professional baseball draft in July and is projected to be a high pick.
Bliss has been a starter since day one at Auburn, and he enjoyed three exceptional seasons, including his memorable junior year.
Bliss made some dramatic improvements between his sophomore and junior seasons, most notably in the power department.
