A Christmas-in-July-themed event called Jingle & Flamingle will take place July 17 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Hogansville.
There will be live music, food trucks, kids’ activities and Santa Claus will be available for pictures.
According to event organizer Allison Creel, the owner of Shoppes on Main, the food truck vendors will be Fiddlefarters Wings and Things, Hawaiian Shaved Ice, and J’s Cheesecake Corner. Creel also said there will be face painting.
This will be an Alive After Five event in Hogansville. Creel explained that during Alive After Five events, participating businesses stay open late from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“We have food trucks, we usually have live music, things for kids to do. It’s just a time where people who work during the week and can’t come out and see what Hogansville has to offer — this gives them a time of community where they can come out and see what Hogansville is all about, meet their neighbors, meet people in the community and see what our shops have,” Creel said.
Jingle & Flamingle is being sponsored by Visit HGVL.
