Mrs. Eula Mae Ogletree Ransom passed away Wednesday.
She was born March 24, 1942, to the late Elvin and Cora Ogletree in Harris County, Georgia.
She united with New Solomon Grove Missionary Baptist Church; and retired from both Callaway Gardens and Whitesville Road Elementary School.
Survivors include children: George (Priscilla) Ransom, Jr., Jimmy (Iris) Ransom, Patricia (Jerome “Rock”) Woodyard, Kathy (Joe) Jefferson, Althea (Gregory) Bing, Dorothea (Tretorian) Smith; daughter-in-law, Carla Abbot Ransom; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; one sister, Virginia L. (Billy) Williams; sisters-in-law: Barbara Jean Wortham, Catherine Wortham, Jelline (Larry) Williams, Betty Ransom; brother-in-law, Herbert (Cecil) Ransom; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family received friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. The Service was Monday at 1 p.m. at New Solomon Grove Baptist Church.
