LPD responds to stabbing

An arrest warrant is active for a woman in LaGrange who allegedly stabbed a man over the weekend.
The subject of the stabbing was treated for their injuries and later released from the hospital, according to a press release from the the LaGrange Police Department.
Officers with the LPD responded to a call on Sunday, Aug. 8, at approximately 1:07 a.m. at 127 Wynnwood Drive, Apartment A, in reference to a subject stabbed.
Officers made contact with the suspect, Keyarra Huzzie, at the residence.
Huzzie told police an argument had ensued between her and her child’s father, the victim.
Officers made contact shortly after with the victim who was suffering from a stab wound to his back.
During the subsequent investigation, it was determined that an argument had ensued between these two parties and it turned physical.
Huzzie then allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife.
Huzzie currently has an active warrant for her arrest for aggravated assault FVA.
