Ms. Sharon Davenport passed away Saturday at WellStar WGMC.

She was born August 2, 1962, in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia, to the late Clifford and Ella Pearl Davenport.

She graduated from LaGrange High School and was  employed by the City of LaGrange Police Department for over thirty years.

Survivors include her children:  Jonathan D. Truitt and Lawrentez D. Davenport; four grandchildren; siblings:  Belinda Davenport (JohnDestry) Culpepper and Clifford E. Davenport; nieces and nephews; uncles:  Theotis (Annie) Davenport, Donald (Betty) Davenport, Dewey Davenport, Thomas Ray Spradling, James (Cynthia) Spradling; aunts:  Eva Scott, Reba Howard, Lillie (John) Bonner, and Glenda (Richard) Taylor; and an array of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

The visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home. The service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Southview Cemetery.
