Aurelian Ronald Whatley, 78, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Dahlonega, Georgia.

Mr. Whatley was born Dec. 1, 1942, in LaGrange, Georgia, son of the late Allen Aurelian Whatley and Melba Ardella Whatley.  He was employed with Milliken and Company before retiring.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife, Jane Whatley, sons, Ronald Wayne Whatley and Christopher Joseph Whatley, and a daughter, Angela Denise Whatley.

Survivors include a daughter, Natalie Gutierrez; granddaughter, Lexi Emery; sister, Patricia Ann Milner; brother, Randy Whatley; and nieces and nephews, Sherry Humphries, Ricky Carden, Michael Whatley, and Randy J. Whatley.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 at Restlawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Charles Greathouse officiating.  The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
