1962-2021

Mr. Tommy Delaney Newsome passed away Tuesday.

He was born April 26, 1962, to the late Ms. Lois Newsome and Mr. Henderson Thornton in Troup County, Georgia.

At an early age, he attended JCHOP Church with his family,  attended LaGrange High School, and was a roofer by trade.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Newsome; children:  DeAndreas Foster, Aryunan (Jonas) McLaughlin, and Towatha Foster; six grandchildren:  sisters:  Cynthia (John) Patterson, Teresa (John) Shaver, and Brenda Gray; brother, DeWayne Thornton;  aunts:  Cora Williams and Margaret Newsome; uncles:  Bishop James T. Newsome and William (Earnestine) Newsome; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, cousins, and friends. The Public Viewing will be Friday, 3-7 p.m.  at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home. The Service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Southview Cemetery. The excellent care of Mr. Newsome is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
