Prophet Frederico Jamal Leonard passed away Saturday in Newnan, Georgia. He was born in Decatur, Georgia on Jan. 23, 1978. He grew up in West Point, Georgia, but traveled the world most of his adult life.

Jamal was a 1996 graduate of Troup County High School; and employed at Caterpillar in LaGrange before transferring with the company to Chicago, Illinois. Upon moving back to Georgia in 2018, he and his family united with the Eagle’s Nest Cathedral in West Point.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal Leonard, Newnan, Georgia; daughter, Ms. Enchanted Ciere’ Leonard, Lanett, A; parents, Evangelist Evalene (Anthony) Flournoy, West Point, Georgia; and Mr. Fredrick (Laverne) Leonard, Baltimore, Maryland; two brothers, Christopher A. Leonard, Los Angeles, California and Elijah A. Kelley, North Hollywood, California; grandparents include:  Pastor Walter J. Hall, Newnan, Georgia; Mrs. Linda Flournoy Peterson (Greg) of Lanett, Alabama;  mother-in-law Mrs. Denise Sikiru, Newnan, Georgia; two sisters-in-law, Ms. Shalonda Blake, Dunwoody, Georgia and Ms. Nikisha Wade of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother-in-law, Dallas Radford, Indianapolis, Indiana; aunts, Brenda (Freddy) Stargell, Hampton, Georgia; Jackie (Willie) Potts, Lanett, Alabama; Valerie (Nathaniel) Billingsley, Phenix City, Alabama; Ida (Charles) Leonard, Columbia, South Carolina; Lara Leonard and Carol (Herbert) Leonard, Atlanta, Georgia; uncles, the Rev. Alonza (Marquenta) Hall, Newnan, Georgia; John (Dorothy) Flournoy, Valley, Alabama; Johnny Leonard, Carl Leonard, Al (Waynefield) Leonard and Michael (Felicia) Leonard, Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of great uncles/uncles, great aunts/aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. The Celebration of Life Service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Eagles Nest Cathedral. Pastor Alfonzia Simpson, Jr., officiating; Apostle Melvin A. Cartwrigth, eulogist. The excellent care of Mr. Leonard is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
