The Emory Thread Road Races are scheduled for  this Saturday, Feb. 26, per a press release from the City of LaGrange. They are  presented by Friends of The Thread and Emory of LaGrange

The races include a free 1 mile Fun Run, 5K and 10K races. These races will be run entirely on The Thread.

Participants can pick up race bibs and t-shirts Friday, Feb. 25 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown LaGrange. There is free parking available in the parking deck behind this hotel.

Race Day Packet Pick-Up and Registration times:

• 7:30 – 8:40 am Fun Run Packet Pick-Up and Fun Run Registration – FREE to run and shirt for purchase while supplies last
• 7:30 – 9:10 am 10K Packet Pick-Up and 10K Registration – $40
• 7:30 – 9:15 am 5K Packet Pick-Up and 5K Registration – $30
• Start Times:
• 8:45 am – Fun Run Start
• 9:15 am – 10K Start
• 9:30 am – 5K Start
• 10:30 am – Awards

Race bibs will not be given out after the pick-up window closes.
