A man was nearly robbed at gunpoint on Hamilton Road Saturday morning.

 

According to a press release, officers with the LaGrange Police Department responded to the 800 block of Hamilton Road near Fending Street in reference to a reported attempted robbery.

 

The investigation revealed the male victim was walking near Hamilton and Fending Street when a black Honda Accord pulled alongside of him and stopped. The rear seat passenger, who was wearing a mask, rolled the window down and pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his belongings. The unknown male then threatened the victim and drove off without actually taking anything. The vehicle continued northbound on Hamilton Road.

 

There are currently no suspects in this case.
