Julia Ann Reeves passed away on May 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving friends.
She was born in Roanoke, Alabama, as the only child of Wiley A. and Edith Goforth Reeves. Julia, her husband and daughter were a military family and lived in many interesting places around the world. But her strongest desire was to be laid to rest in Troup County, Georgia, her home.
Julia Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her only beloved child, Susan Lynn Gonsalves. Remaining to cherish her memory are her childhood sister/friends, Pat Walters and Beverly Friday, cousins Nancy Relihan, Clare Roven, and Ann Collins and a special friend Jaleen Welch.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider Julia’s love of cats at the rescue charity of your choice and especially her desire to help abused and abandoned girls at the memorial girl’s home that Julia set up honoring her daughter’s memory as Lynn’s Casa, The Lynn Fund, Living Hope, P.O. Box 3285, LaGrange, Georgia, 30240.
