HOGANSVILLE— The Fuel Coffee Bar opened quietly at the Hogansville Depot Monday morning, bringing with it the smell of freshly brewed coffee and new possibilities.
Owned by husband-wife duo Carlos and Ashlea Cannon, the coffee shop opened at the downtown train depot next to Baraca Plants and the former Great Southern Pub, which closed earlier in June. The location was the former home of Station’s Coffeehouse.
“This is location number two for us,” Ashlea said.
The Cannons operate an additional location inside of Peachtree Immediate Care, not far from Tyrone where they live. The Cannon’s sell both hot and cold brews, made from solar power-roasted ONYX coffee grounds, as well as specialty juices and waters and an assortment of baked goods.
The location includes a sitting area at the front of the shop and a back room set up for meetings and a potential overflow of customers.
Fuel Coffee Bar is open 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
