A custodian was arrested at Ethel Kight Elementary School upon his arrival to work Friday afternoon due to having a firearm in his
vehicle, according to a Troup County School System press release . The employee, who was not identified, was arrested after school hours.

“We would like to thank our administrators, staff and law enforcement for addressing this situation quickly, thoroughly and responsibly as possible,” a press release from TCSS said.
