Mrs. Shirley Ann Thrower Thomas, age 78, of LaGrange, passed away on Aug. 12, 2022.

Mrs. Thomas was born on July 26, 1944, in LaGrange to the late Harvey Thrower and Eva Mae Thrower. In addition to caring for the needs of her family, she retired from Carter’s Clothing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Renee Allen and siblings, Donna Thrower and Dennis Thrower.

Survivors include her husband, Harold “Pete” Thomas; children, John Thomas, Daphne Thomas, Luke Thomas (Dina); siblings, Rudean Puryear (David), Wylean Morton (Bill) and Gordon Thrower (Irene); grandchildren, Chasity Moat (Jamie), Cheyanne Jones (Tyler), Kaylee May and Dylan Hattemer; great-grandchildren, Abbi Moat, Trey Moat, River Jones and Jax Jones; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Mon. Aug. 15, 2022, at 2 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M.
