LaGrange Police are investigating an incident where a man was shot in a vehicle on Callaway Ave.

Officers responded to the 800 block of Callaway Avenue late Saturday night around 11:10 p.m., in reference to reports of gunshots fired into an occupied vehicle.

According to police, the investigation revealed that several gunshots were fired at a vehicle occupied by a male as he was backing out of his driveway on Callaway Ave.

Police say a single projectile struck the rear windshield of the victim’s vehicle and another shot was determined to have struck a nearby unoccupied vehicle parked on the street.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

This incident is currently under active investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal Investigation Section as an aggravated assault.
