The Troup County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who robbed Dollar General on Pyne Road Monday morning just before 10 a.m.

TCSO Public Information Officer Stewart Smith said the suspect was described as a Black male wearing all black clothing and a Puma hoodie with white writing.

The suspect took an unknown amount of money out of the registers. A K9 from the LaGrange Police Department is on the scene.

Smith confirmed that at least two gunshots were fired inside the store. No injuries were reported.
