Mr. Jessie W. Grissom, Jr. passed away Monday.

He was born Dec. 8, 1963, in LaGrange, Georgia to Mrs. Lizzie Mae Grissom; and the late Jessie W. Grissom, Sr.

He united with the Old Mount Olive Baptist Church in LaGrange, was educated in the LaGrange City Schools, and was previously employed by Unity Plant and Vulcan Materials.

Survivors include his son, Jessie Monentes Griffin; one grandson; mother, Mrs. Lizzie Mae Grissom; a devoted companion, Margaret Griffin; goddaughter, Talia Gunn; five brothers:  Roy (Cassie) Ross, Milton Ross, Ricky Grissom, Ronnie Grissom, and Hollis Grissom; five sisters:  Ernestine (Guy) Poythress, Cindy (Jerome) Fields, Sandra (Alfred) Brewer, Trudee (Dexter) Roberts, and Maybelle Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The service will be Tuesday at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
