LaGrange is getting a new Dunkin’ Donuts on New Franklin Road.

The restaurant franchisee confirmed Friday that the donut shop will open at 217 New Franklin Road in LaGrange, in the old Miami Made Fish and Chicken building.

“We are excited to open a new Next Generation restaurant in the heart of LaGrange,” said Shamsu Charania, Dunkin’ franchisee. “With this new restaurant, we look forward to keeping the LaGrange community running on Dunkin’ for years to come.”

City Planner Mark Kostial said Dunkin had gotten all the proper permissions to move forward with renovating the space.

No approximate opening date has been announced for the new restaurant.

There are currently two Dunkin locations in LaGrange, one being in Great Wolf Lodge at 150 Tom Hall Parkway, and the other being at 1740 Lafayette Parkway.
