First win of the season.

LaGrange Academy earned a hard fought 55-52 victory over Oaks. It was the Jackson Malone show as he dropped 31 points on the Warriors home court to lift them to their first victory of the 2022 campaign. 

The Warriors trailed 15-13 heading into the second quarter before turning it on the second to take a 28-23 lead into the break. 

LaGrange Academy led most of the rest of the way. 

“We did a great job making plays down the stretch and finished the game strong,” Warrior head coach Britt Gaylor said. 

Sam Anderson chipped in 11 points for the Warriors while Alex Jarvholm had six, Brayden Salter had five and John Calhoun had two points to round out the scoring for the Warriors. 

LaGrange Academy improved to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors return to the court on Friday against Lafayette Christian on the road.
