LaGrange Police are investigating an incident where a gunshot was fired into an occupied home.

The LaGrange Police Department responded to reports of gunshots fired in the 1000 block of Houston St. around 8:26 p.m. Thursday.

While en route, officers received information about a second 911 call indicating that shots had been fired into an occupied residence on Houston St.

Officers spoke to the 60-year-old victim who said he was inside his residence when he heard a noise coming from near his television. The victim then discovered that a bullet had entered his residence, went through his television stand and lodged into his couch.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Police have not identified any potential suspects at this time.

This incident is still under investigation by the LaGrange Police Department Criminal  Investigation Section.
