On Thursday, Shear Perfection Salon & Spa officially opened the doors to its permanent location on Mooty Bridge Road with a ribbon cutting organized by the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.

Lauren Browning, owner of Shear Perfection Salon & Spa said the business is a full-service salon and Spa.

“We offer full-service hair extensions, makeup, wedding parties. We also specialize in body contouring, body sculpting, waxing, kind of like a one-stop shop,” Browning said.

Browning said this will be the business’s permanent location as she been renting and owning the business since 2013.

“This is officially our permanent location since I bought this house — so, no more renting for us,” Browning said.

Upon officially laying roots and being a part of the chamber, Browning said she feels excited about it.

“It felt like the right time to join since this is now our permanent location and to start getting more involved in the community,” Browning said. “We hope to do some volunteering, get our name out there and meet new people. “

Browning said she and her staff are like family.

“All six of us have been together for a while,” Browning said. “We’re all best friends and have formed a close nit relationship with one another. We’re not just coworkers, we’re family, and I feel like that’s very important.”

Shear Perfection Salon & Spa is located at 1017 Mooty Bridge Rd. and open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
